[She doesn't care to visit the well often, but after everything that's transpired, Cantarella finds herself at its boundary. She stays behind the splintered fence, looking into the obscured surface of the water.
For her energy or her general bright color scheme, Lynne is hard to miss. Upon making eye contact with her, Cantarella will lift one hand in a gentle wave. She has seemed so earnest throughout...while silently greeting her, she studies her expression sympathetically, looking to see how she's doing.]
[Lynne seems largely pensive, walking around looking at the sky. When she notices Cantarella, she gives a wave, distracted, and seems to mull something, until...]
I have no proof, but I feel the puppets are telling the truth about not having anything to do with all this. In that case, the thing at fault might be the realm itself.
...do you think it could do something against us if we try to dig too deep?
[Not that it'd stop Lynne, really. She's the kind of detective who keeps going forward]
There's certainly plenty they still aren't telling all of us, but I'm also inclined to believe this isn't their doing—our arrival or the circumstances of these last few days.
If that's true, I'd like to know how the place differentiates between us and them so seamlessly. If it's calculated and precise enough to do that and to alter for us so abruptly, chances are you will be tempting punishment if you go poking around.
[She doesn't think that's much of a deterrent for someone with Lynne's personality...but Cantarella pauses after she says this, anyway, looking to see how she responds to it.]
[She's not sure what brings her down to the study, given that this week especially, Cantarella has not spent much time here. Maybe it's the story of licking floor substances off of the dungeon—and since she can't do anything else at the moment, maybe she can come here and look for it— but those plans go on hold when she comes across the young detective.]
Lynne? I didn't expect to find you here. [Pause.] I do hope you aren't also ingesting suspicious materials.
[Cantarella's face is a bit pale due to the translucent jellyfish nature she's taken on, but there is perhaps a little extra blanching at Lynne's mention of stepping in blood that—based on everything they've already determined about thw way this place warps perception—might not have even looked like it was there.]
Blood that wasn't there the night before, I assume. [She turns her head to look deeper into the building.] I wonder if Lobelia witnessed anything.

[There it is. She doesn't sound afraid at all, just determined]
If this place thinks I'm such a threat then it better do its worst.

[Lynne is so daring in many ways, but eating suspicious things isn't one of them. Thank goodness, eh?]
I actually spent the night here with Ramuda and Lobelia. Don't worry, we kept our tongues away from anything weird.

[So, really, where else was he supposed to go?]
Then, you heard--the announcement? [Perhaps even before the rest of them.]

Something must have happened here last night.
[But alas, clues seem to be gone]

[He sounded...well. He sounded.]
